Position Overview

The Data Entry Clerk position is a full-time, remote opportunity that offers a unique chance to work with a dedicated team of professionals who share a passion for making a difference. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for inputting and maintaining accurate and up-to-date client status records, monitoring emails and communications, and collaborating with program staff to ensure seamless delivery of services. Key Responsibilities

  • Input and maintain updated client status records in the Statewide Client Service Center, reflecting the current production pipeline.
  • Monitor emails, logging documents, and communications in the Monday.com platform upon receipt.
  • Follow program guidelines for the use of all required database systems, including Monday.com, CMS, CSG eConservation, HEARTWAP, LIHEAP, In Demand, etc.
  • Maintain organized digital and paper participant files in accordance with program guidelines, ensuring compliance with agency and funder requirements.
  • Collaborate with program staff to support, enhance, and promote communication and consistency in the delivery of services.
  • Assist with various clerical duties, such as filing, mailings, phone coverage, etc.
  • Maintain availability for remote work, attending meetings, calls, responding to emails, and conducting regular duties as needed.
  • Attend all required staff meetings, supervision, training, and contractual meetings.
  • Participate in mandatory agency training and other relevant professional development activities.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of the role.
  • Perform related work as required.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Two years of experience in Human Service or a related field, or applicable work experience working with diverse individuals and families with low incomes.
  • Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience, or additional directly related experience may be substituted for education.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working with database management systems, such as Monday.com, CMS, CSG eConservation, HEARTWAP, LIHEAP, In Demand, etc.
  • Knowledge of energy services programs and policies.
  • Experience working in a non-profit or human services environment.
