Job Overview
As a Remote Customer Service Specialist – Tier 1 Representative at blithequark, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing technical support and resolving customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat. You will be working from the comfort of your own home, with a minimum of 38 hours per week scheduled between 12pm-10pm CST. Key Responsibilities
- Interact with hundreds of callers daily, using active listening and critical thinking to resolve customer service inquiries
- Actively resolve complaints and concerns within the queue, investigating billing and fraudulent activity concerns as needed
- Process account requests, provide guidance on product features, and diagnose hardware/software issues
- Utilize screen sharing to resolve technical issues, coordinate appointments for further troubleshooting and maintenance, and research articles and work instructions to efficiently resolve inquiries
- Properly document notes and effectively summarize conversation details, openly accepting feedback, coaching, and training to further develop skills
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Familiarity with iOS and/or MacOS, or comparable technology, is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with people quickly
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly and concisely
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and first-call resolution
Essential Qualifications
- Ability to work from home with a reliable internet connection
- Residence in Texas or Tennessee is required
- Availability to work a minimum of 38 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to participate in 5 weeks of paid training, with a combination of self-led activities, instructor-led curriculum, and on-the-job training
