Summary** As a Network Support Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for: * Arranging and delivering Cisco equipment * Reviewing and processing Organization Trucks satisfaction demands * Supporting and processing Organization Trucks project tasks * Attending scheduled training to ensure ability to support existing and future state network conditions: Warehouse, Terminal, Server farm, Provincial Office, Colocation, and Cloud * Understanding ITIL/Trucks incident, problem, change, information, and request processes * Suggesting or implementing enhancements for team processes and procedures * Ensuring that incident documentation is thorough, accurate, and complete * Providing guidance and direction to clients, teams, and other support individuals regarding daily activities, project drives, network activities, and support issues * Building and maintaining helpful, cooperative, effective relationships * Providing answers to clients by identifying issues, exploring replies, and directing clients through remedial actions * Providing essential technical support and ensuring compliance to established rules and methods for monitoring performance * Fixing issues in LAN framework, testing, and designing software * Assessing network performance to improve the organization * Planning upgrades and maintenance without disrupting business workflow * Providing technical guidance and giving network framework training to colleagues * Working with vendors to obtain required hardware for the organizations and frameworks * Identifying, analyzing, and resolving network switching and transmission framework issues while minimizing impact on client support * Distinguishing between primary and secondary network failures * Working the Network Support episode line including opening, focusing on, investigating, following-up, telling, raising, conveying, recording, and attracting extra assets on a case-by-case basis for incident resolution * Answering and contributing to Arrange Support hotline calls to help end clients and minimize business interruption * Answering Network Support email requests and demands * Working out Network Support proactive daily task list * Delegating assigned tasks in Smartsheet * Leading and participating in weekly team meetings * Opening and screening Cisco TAC cases on defective Cisco hardware and reviewing the entire process * Reviewing and directing corporate office data wardrobes **Requirements** * Essential understanding of Ethernet, Fiber, Casing Transfer, AVPN, ISDN, Dedicated IP, and Steering protocols * Essential knowledge of network equipment and software including switches, routers, and wireless controllers * Essential understanding of subnetting, VLANs, and network geography * Magnificent written/verbal communication skills, phone behavior, and customer service skills * High-level skills in investigation and analysis with incidents and issues * Experience or understanding of ITIL/Trucks incident, problem, change, information, and request processes * Shown strong work ethic and positive, developed, professional attitude * Should be self-motivated and able to work independently, with minimal management * Process-oriented, understands the benefits of processes, and the need for consistency * Ability to explain or convey technical terms to non-technical audiences * Effectively searches for, suggests or implements enhancements for team processes and methodologies * Should be able to function well under pressure and within time requirements * Innovative, creative, and very responsive with a strong desire to keep moving * Should be a cooperative person and work collaboratively with others sharing ideas, working together and ultimately putting team objectives first * Shown strong association skills to comply with tight time constraints * A solid understanding of Google Suite * Periodic travel may be required * Willing to help off-hours function as required including weekends, holidays, and 24/7 on-standby liabilities on a rotational basis **Preferred Qualifications** * Great understanding of blithequark business warehouse and stop hardware * Essential knowledge of Organization checking tools to aid issue prevention and resolution * Reading up for or have CCNA certification * Organizing degree * ITIL Foundation Certification * Knowledge of
