Key Responsibilities
- Lead reviews between Design and Operations Engineering to drive requirements that are critical to executing the manufacturing plan for Data Center products, such as Design For Excellence (DFX) and test strategy.
- Lead the technology evaluation for new products. Work with the Product team to highlight risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Provide local and remote support for pre-production builds. Ensure factory readiness, support manufacturing line ramp, provide product investigation training, and gather input on form issues. Manage and drive yield span analysis to improve product quality.
- Collaborate with Quality Architects to establish product quality and reliability targets. Validate product capability plans, support reliability testing, and review results to ensure product performance meets requirements.
- Support supply chain continuity planning, such as second source part qualification, assembly capabilities, and release of engineering and manufacturer change orders.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working with an organization developing supply chains in manufacturing and testing.
- Experience developing technical relationships with contract manufacturers.
- Experience programming in SQL or Python.
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, the following skills and experience are highly desirable:
- Experience creating and executing a Design Verification Test Plan on a complex electronic assembly.
- Knowledge of system, functional, and board level testing.
- Understanding of Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS) devices, manufacturing processes, Automated Test Equipment (ATE) tests, Design for Excellence (DFX), quality, and reliability.
- Ability to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous process improvements working with cross-functional teams, contract manufacturers, and suppliers.
- Ability to deliver a timely and highly accurate work product.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
