About the Role: Remote Pharmacy Technician

We're on the hunt for a skilled and dedicated Remote Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team! As a Remote Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in our Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment team, providing assistance in the preparation and distribution of drug products. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hybrid model, combining remote work with time in our remote office, and be part of a team that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and member and physician outreach, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Enter member demographics and prescription information into our data processing system with accuracy and precision.
  • Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Escalate questions regarding prescriptions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or provide direction on processing, showcasing your expertise and judgment.
  • Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls, delivering outstanding customer service and support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy technician certification, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field.
  • Registration and licensure in the state of GA, with residency in GA, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician experience, providing a solid foundation in pharmacy operations and patient care.
  • Basic computer skills, especially Excel and prescription medications software approved by the PTCB, enabling efficient data management and processing.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact with patients, physicians, and other stakeholders in a professional and compassionate manner.

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven track record of adapting to changing priorities and workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, patients, and physicians.
