About the Role
As a Senior Data Analyst at Home Depot, you'll be working closely with a talented team of data scientists and software engineers to develop and implement state-of-the-art data science and analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, UX designers, and end-users to determine requirements and develop high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
- Demonstrate a can-do, innovative mindset, consistently seeking opportunities for skill development and enthusiastically tackling new challenges to drive business and data science capabilities forward.
- Design and implement data science and analytics solutions using programming languages such as Python and R.
- Apply strong knowledge of statistics and mathematics, including hypothesis testing, probability, and regression, to inform business decisions with data-driven insights.
- Deploy machine learning algorithms (supervised and unsupervised) using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Create data visualizations to effectively communicate data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Utilize strong SQL skills for data processing, including writing stored procedures, functions, and scripts.
- Apply knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or similar technology, including BigQuery, Vertex AI, and BigQuery Partner.
- Leverage expertise in Tableau or similar technology to create interactive dashboards and advanced data visualizations.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as SQL, R, and Python.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and drive business decisions.
- Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Tableau.
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, including Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
