Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Lead Teachers: Assist in creating a safe, warm, and inviting classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
- Communication is Key: Engage with families daily to share updates on student progress, needs, and achievements, promoting a strong partnership between home and school.
- Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to encourage parent and community engagement.
- Quality Care: Adhere to all minimum licensing, quality-rated, and accreditation guidelines, as well as company standards, to ensure a high-quality standard of care for every child.
- Nourishing Young Minds: Prepare and serve meals and snacks that cater to the dietary needs of children, promoting healthy eating habits.
- Curriculum Implementation: Utilize our science-based, proprietary curriculum and suggested supplement activities to create a fun and engaging learning environment tailored to each child's developmental needs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including attendance, child portfolios, USDA documentation, and other required records.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with team members and leadership to achieve center goals around enrollment, accreditations, and family engagement.
Essential Qualifications
- Warmth and Understanding: Genuine warmth and understanding of the needs of young children and their families.
- Positive Attitude: A positive attitude and self-image, with a commitment to innovation and creativity.
- Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively engage with coworkers, parents, and children.
- Education: HS Diploma or GED required.
- Background Check: Must pass the state-required criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications
