Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting Lead Teachers: Assist Lead Teachers in creating a safe, warm, and inviting classroom environment that is clean and organized, ensuring the well-being and engagement of all students.
  • Communication with Families: Communicate daily with families regarding student progress, needs, and achievements to foster a collaborative and supportive partnership.
  • Building Relationships: Develop strong professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to encourage parent and community engagement, promoting a sense of belonging and connection.
  • Maintaining High-Quality Care: Adhere to all minimum licensing, quality-rated, and accreditation guidelines, as well as company standards, to ensure a high-quality standard of care for every child.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Utilize our science-based, proprietary curriculum and suggested supplement activities to create a fun and engaging learning environment tailored to each child's developmental needs.
  • Record Keeping: Assist with maintaining daily records, including attendance, child portfolios, USDA documentation, and other records required by local agencies.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with team members and leadership to achieve center goals around enrollment, accreditations, and family engagement, contributing to the overall success of our educational community.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To excel as an Assistant Teacher with Childcare Network, you should possess:
