Key Responsibilities
- Work with children (18 months to school age) with autism and special needs in their homes or in one of our centers, implementing ABA therapy plans and activities to promote skill development and positive behavior.
 - Collaborate with our team of experienced staff, including Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other professionals, to deliver comprehensive care and support to our clients.
 - Gain training and skills to support a career in behavior analysis, behavioral health, teaching, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, counseling, mental health, and parenting.
 - Create lasting, positive change for children and their families by providing individualized support and guidance.
 - Work full-time or part-time hours between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., with opportunities for flexible scheduling and career advancement.
 
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as a Behavior Technician with LEARN Behavioral, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
 - Eligibility to work in the United States.
 - Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule: morning, afternoon, and/or evenings.
 - The ability to pass a background check.
 - Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
 - A genuine desire to help children with autism and their families achieve their goals.
 - Strong compassion, empathy, enthusiasm, kindness, goodwill, and reliability.
 - A willingness to learn about autism, learning differences, and ABA therapy.
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your application:
- Bi-lingual fluency in English and Spanish.
 - Study, major, or minor in psychology, education, special education, child care, behavioral health, health science, or a related field.
 - Experience working with children, whether as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, teacher, coach, camp counselor, or in another capacity.

Physical Requirements
As a Behavior Technician, you may be required to:
- Push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds.

 - Sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.
