Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students in a variety of subjects and grade levels
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
• Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and well-being
• Collaborate with school staff and administrators to ensure seamless integration into the school community
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
• Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
• A New Jersey Substitute Credential
• A background check and TB risk assessment (we will cover the cost of this)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination
• A passion for education and a commitment to putting students first
• An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience working with students in a variety of subjects and grade levels
• Knowledge of trauma-informed teaching, classroom management, and other relevant educational topics
