Job Overview and Responsibilities
As a Systems Integration Architect at Ocean Spray, you will play a critical role in leading architecture and solution decisions, developing and documenting technical architecture, and defining best practices for enterprise integration and system architecture. Your expertise will be essential in providing technical oversight for integration between enterprise solutions and existing business systems, as well as collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate solutions. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading architecture and solution decisions with project teams through an architecture committee
- Developing and documenting technical architecture, including technical specifications, implementation plans, and system configurations
- Defining, adopting, and advocating best practices as they relate to enterprise integration and system architecture
- Providing technical oversight for integration between enterprise solutions and existing business systems
- Collaborating with business and other stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate solutions, and align on decisions to best support the organization
- Staying up-to-date on the latest technologies, driving innovation, and guiding teams within the organization
- Establishing and governing a common enterprise architecture framework and methodology
- Ensuring that an integrated architecture repository is established to support efficiencies across the enterprise
- Developing technology roadmaps, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, and development of sustainable designs
- Governing and leading technical design and solutions, owning accountability to ensure custom development is done at the right time and in the right place
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong educational foundation and extensive experience in integration using SAP middleware or other relevant technologies. Some of the essential qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in integration using SAP middleware or other
- Experience with system integrations utilizing SAP BTP
- Working knowledge of ABAP development and a good understanding of SAP modules such as FICO, MM, PP, or SD
- Very good understanding of standards needed to support integrations (security, monitoring, error handling, etc.)
- Strong technical skills and a background in enterprise architecture
- BASIS experience in technical upgrade and S/4HANA migrations
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
Preferred qualifications include experience in the CPG industry, as well as a strong understanding of industry trends and technologies.
