About Workwarp and the Community Learning Center Model

Workwarp partners with community providers to deliver high-quality after-school and summer enrichment programs through the Community Learning Center (CLC) model. Our collaborative approach brings together schools, community organizations, and families to provide a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and grow. The CLC model is designed to foster academic achievement, social-emotional learning, and character development, ultimately helping students develop skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process enrollments for Community Learning Center programs, including Learning Adventures, Preschool Opportunities Program, and Jr. Kids Inc., while maintaining accurate student and family records.
  • Communicate effectively with site and management staff to ensure seamless information sharing.
  • Monitor special needs and circumstances indicated on enrollment forms and advise when circumstances may require supervisory review.
  • Manage wait lists for all sites, monitor site enrollment, and enroll new families when slots become available.
  • Assist with billing and collection of dues and fees for families enrolled in CLC programs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to families through in-person, written, electronic, or phone interactions.
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities within the CLC Enrollment Department and other areas as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of CLC Enrollment procedure manuals and training guides.
  • Assist with the management of grants, including recording data and providing requested documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by direct or indirect supervisors.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One to three years of previous experience in database systems, billing, collections, basic accounting, or customer service.
  • Proficiency in data input on computer terminal and strong Office Suite background.
  • Ability to relate positively with employees and the public, take initiative, and work independently with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an educational or community-based setting.
  • Familiarity with database management systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Competitive hourly rate: $24.76 per hour (Salary Schedule - Level LX).
  • Payday: Last working day of each month.
  • FTE: 1.0 FTE.
