Key Responsibilities
As an Educational Aid, you will be responsible for:
- Distributing and collecting testing materials as needed by students
- Grading and providing testing results using identified scoring techniques
- Monitoring students during various phases of the school day
- Preparing instructional materials related to classroom lessons
- Providing tutoring to students in all subject areas
- Accompanying and supervising students on field trips
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess at least one year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work experience that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of an Educational Aide
- Be able to maintain confidentiality of school-related matters

- Have experience working with students in an educational setting
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education Substitution
Candidates who meet specific education requirements may qualify for this position:
- 2 years (60 semester hours) of education above high school may be substituted for general experience
- A combination of education and general experience may be used to qualify for this position, as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%
