Supply Chain SME
                                TGTG is seeking a Supply Chain SME to support digital transformation within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Financial Services Center.
Within the FSC, the Financial Technology Service (FTS) is responsible for all Information Technology including requirements analysis and sizing, backlog management, scrum team governance, incremental/sprint planning, business value, dependency management, risk and impact analysis, scheduling, budget vs actual labor reporting, configuration management, testing, infrastructure operations, application modernization, cyber security, process improvement, and Agile Release Train orchestration.
FTS?s IT products address a broad array of VA?s enterprise requirements including timekeeping and payroll; accounting; financial reporting and auditing; healthcare claims processing; accounts payable and payment processing; employee travel and charge card; employee relocation; financial data analytics; and financial integration.
This role can be performed in Austin, TX or fully remote.
Primary Responsibilities
The Supply Chain SME will support PMO surge for FSC Enterprise Transformation Initiatives for Supply Chain Modernization. The Supply Chain SME will support multiple studies for FSC and make recommendations regarding the utility, feasibility, and affordability of the concepts and capabilities under study. They will create strategically tailored Supply Chain plans encompassing materiel and personnel procurement, maintenance, distribution, and replacement. A Senior Logistics Analyst must have experience in conducting targeted review of status and identify points of risk and be able to identify alternative strategies for addressing and mitigating risk.
• Develop solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
• Lead daily activities to include client meetings, vendor meetings, internal team meetings, and will work closely with the client Operations team to set up efficient and Best in Class Supply Chain Operation
• Must have experience in conducting targeted review of status and identify points of risk and be able to identify alternative strategies for addressing and mitigating risk.
• Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives that will be supported with both qualitative and quantitative analyses
• Maintain a detailed understanding of deployment activity across multiple projects, including status, release dates, issues/risks, and impact
• Develop, execute, and maintain project work plans for the project
• Meet regularly/as needed with project teams to ensure involvement in project planning and deployment definition
• Manage and complete multiple concurrent assignments and or projects
• Develop risk/issue mitigation strategies, identify and resolve deployment risk in support of quality and risk management processes
• Perform related work as assigned
