About the Role

As a Material Handling Associate, you will be responsible for a range of warehouse tasks that are crucial to our production processes. This is a part-time role that requires a minimum commitment of 20 to 25 hours per week, with the flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays. You will be working in a fast-paced environment that demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport pallets and individual cases onto and off trailers, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of merchandise.
  • Gather and transfer unoccupied pallet panels to designated storage locations, maintaining a organized warehouse environment.
  • Pick and pack cases according to orders using required technology, demonstrating proficiency in handling equipment and software.
  • Participate in comprehensive training programs to ensure awareness of safety standards and performance regulations, particularly for forklift operators.
  • Load freight onto trailers using either carts or by stacking cases directly on the trailer floor, adhering to safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Assist in the weekly stocktaking process, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by performing tasks such as sweeping floors, tidying trailers, and disposing of garbage, in accordance with CGMPs and safety protocols.
  • Lift weights ranging from 15 to 50 pounds, with or without assistance, demonstrating physical ability and stamina.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old, with the legal capacity to work in the assigned location.
  • Be available to work outside traditional business hours, including weekends and holidays, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
  • Possess the physical ability to lift weights between 15 to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable adjustments.
  • Be capable of standing and walking for prolonged periods, with or without feasible modifications.
  • Demonstrate physical dexterity, including the ability to climb, twist, turn, and move freely, even for extended periods, with or without reasonable adjustments.
  • Be prepared to work at heights using aerial equipment such as ladders and lifts, with a focus on safety and risk management.
  • Be willing to work in a dynamic environment with varying conditions, including extreme temperatures, humidity, and potential hazards.
