Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and entry-level Autism/ABA Behavior Technicians to join our growing team in Northglenn, CO. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to work directly with children on the autism spectrum, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs established by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our comprehensive training program will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role, and our competitive compensation package includes a starting hourly rate of $20/hour, paid training, and the opportunity to earn up to $4,000 in incentive bonuses per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children on the autism spectrum
 - Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
 - Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans
 - Work collaboratively with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
 - Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
 - Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions
 - Maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
 
Essential Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
 - Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting
 - 1-year ABA Experience (or 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting)
 - Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
 - Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle
 - Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
 - Must have your own transportation and auto insurance in order to travel between clients
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
 - Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families
 - University Partnerships, Supervision, Practicum, and Mentoring for aspiring BCBA's
