Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Math Instructor/Tutor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for our students. Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth
• Participate in positive interactions with parents, establishing a high level of confidence and program value
• Teach in-center using the Mathnasium Method, which includes individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions, working collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework, providing constructive feedback and guidance
• Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment, ensuring that our center is a safe and welcoming space for all students
• Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of our team and center

Essential Qualifications

• A passion for math and working with students, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on their academic and personal lives
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I, with a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and principles
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks, prioritizing multiple responsibilities and managing time effectively
• Willingness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
