What You'll Do
As a Frontend Coach - Non-Complex, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates
- Touring stores and providing feedback (Tour-to-Teach) to ensure associates are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service
- Communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction
- Introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions
- Communicating business objectives to teams effectively and driving financial performance and sales of the designated store area
- Reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses
- Managing and supporting customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved
- Developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies and provide process improvement leadership
- Providing supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, and mentoring
- Coordinating, completing, and overseeing job-related activities and assignments, building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Development
- Lead and develop teams effectively, providing guidance and coaching to associates
- Tour stores and provide feedback to ensure associates are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service
- Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction
Business Results
- Drive financial performance and sales of the designated store area
- Review and evaluate P&L statements, manage and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses
- Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved
Customer Experience
- Manage and support customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved
- Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and provide process improvement leadership
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of college
- OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience
- OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
