About the Role

We are seeking experienced full stack software engineers to join our data structure teams at Blithequark. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale distributed systems, architecting and building robust, flexible, and highly scalable solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and technical program managers, to drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy large-scale distributed systems components or applications
• Architect and build robust, flexible, and highly scalable solutions using Java or other object-oriented programming languages
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and technical program managers
• Contribute to open-source organizations and add to Blithequark's OSS
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code standards
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Essential Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems components or applications
• Proficiency in the design and development of RESTful web services
• Experience in building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, and distributed systems
• Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
• Ability to handle multi-threading and distributed systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or GCP
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
• Experience with data processing and analytics tools, such as Apache Kafka or Apache Spark
