Job Summary

As a Customer Advocate Phone Specialist with blithequark, you will work in a fully remote capacity within the state of Arizona, providing exceptional inbound phone support to our valued customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of Arizonans. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying, researching, processing, resolving, and responding to customer inquiries via telephone and written correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inbound phone support to healthcare customers throughout Arizona, addressing their concerns and inquiries with empathy and expertise.
  • Clarify specifics related to our healthcare services, including contract benefits, changes in coverage, eligibility, claims, programs, and provider networks.
  • Navigate multiple system applications to gather, input, and maintain data records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Consult and coordinate with internal departments, external plans, providers, businesses, and government agencies to resolve customer inquiries.
  • Document and record facts related to inquiries and correspondence, updating customer files and systems.
  • Demonstrate and maintain current working knowledge of blithequark systems, procedures, forms, and manuals.

  • Competitive hourly pay rate of $20.00/hr

Requirements and Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least one (1) year of experience in claims examination, health insurance, customer service, call center, medical office, or other healthcare-related field
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Intermediate PC proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance products and services
  • Certification in customer service or a related field

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
