We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in shaping the future of self-driving technology. As a key member of our Information Curation group, you'll be responsible for building high-quality datasets that will enable our brain organizations to address complex Full-Self-Driving (FSD) issues. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project that has the potential to revolutionize the way we travel and interact with our environment.
**What's in Store**
The Information Curation group is responsible for creating datasets that will be consumed by our brain organizations to address significant FSD issues. This involves designing strategies to gather millions of instances of fleet data, building guidelines and training materials for the data collection team, analyzing the data, working with AI specialists to train our models, and creating assessments to verify whether the issue is resolved or not. This role has a direct impact on blithequark's overall progress towards a Self-Driving future, as high-volume, high-quality data is the foundation of successful AI.
**What You'll Do**
As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
* Assembling large, clean, diverse, and balanced datasets to improve various self-driving tasks
* Designing strategies to gather data from design assets and the client fleet
* Creating training materials to educate data collection teams on how to secure specific data
* Training up to many staff members on the techniques and methods you've designed
* Developing analyzing and filtering techniques to ensure data quality
* Coordinating the development and testing of assessments to verify social enhancements to the task you're handling
* Maintaining a tight feedback loop with data collection, AI design, and test teams to ensure new datasets improve Self-Driving
* Writing data queries to mine data from the fleet (Python, JSON-C) and analyzing telemetry to gauge performance and progress of improving various self-driving tasks
* Directing in-vehicle testing to support design development
* Producing reports that convey top issues, release blockers, progress, and next steps for various activities
**What You'll Bring**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Math, or evidence of excellent skills in a related field
* The ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with high uncertainty; a self-starter mindset
* Experience with Python, Pandas, NumPy, SQL, Git, Grafana, and ElasticSearch
* Understanding of AI and self-driving essentials
* A phenomenal work ethic, communication, attention to detail, and collaboration skills

The compensation offered may vary depending on individualized factors, including market area, work-related information, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other components dependent on the position advertised.
