Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for applying advanced data science, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques to provide insights and actionable recommendations, as well as offering consulting support for program development and cross-functional initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Builds models and equipment using technical expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, risk and decision theory, and other quantitative methods. Innovates by adapting to new modeling techniques and procedures. • Understands the business reality behind large sets of data and develops meaningful analytic solutions. • Applies analytical rigor and statistical techniques to analyze large quantities of data, using advanced statistical methods, including predictive statistical models, customer profiling, segmentation analysis, survey design, analysis, and data mining. Builds recommendations and optimization algorithmic designs, performs data retrieval, complexity analysis, and scientific computing. • Programs using tech stack Python, PySpark, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc. • Performs machine learning techniques, and supervised and unsupervised algorithms to build predictive models and prescriptive solutions to support various business use cases. • Builds algorithms like decision trees, regression, XGBoost, K means, and anomaly detection. Interpretable ML, Bayesian theory, etc. • Utilizes Cloud Computing on Azure/Databricks, querying in Snowflake. • Utilizes software tools and methodologies GitHub, Continuous integration and delivery, agile methodologies. • Collaborates with finance, researchers, software developers, and business leaders to define product requirements and provide analytical support. • Communicates verbally and in writing to business clients and management team with diverse levels of technical expertise, instructing them about our systems, as well as sharing insights and recommendations. Essential Qualifications • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, quantitative or computational capabilities OR High School/GED and a minimum of 7 years of experience in data science, machine learning, quantitative or computational capabilities. • M.S. in STEM, PC science, data systems, physics, mathematics, statistics, data science, machine learning, or similar. • At least 4 years of experience working with large-scale, complex datasets to create/optimize machine learning, predictive, forecasting, and/or optimization models. • Advanced experience in SQL, Python, PySpark or other languages. • Advanced degree skill in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and selection, detecting patterns, learning distributions, visualizing results, and extracting insights to assist businesses in making informed data-driven decisions. • Experience with decision trees, and building classifiers. Preferred Qualifications • Ph.D. in STEM, PC science, data systems, physics, mathematics, statistics, data science, machine learning, or similar. • Experience working with IoT, and Edge AI is a plus. • Experience in Reinforcement Learning is a plus. • Experience in Healthcare is a plus. Skills and Competencies Required for Success • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply advanced data science and machine learning techniques to drive business growth. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, PySpark, and SQL. • Experience with Cloud Computing, data pipelines, and software tools such as GitHub and agile methodologies. • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritize needs, with a strong focus on delivering results and driving business impact.
