                                About the position
Responsibilities
• Operate computer software for the production of 3D images and reconstructions from CT and MRI datasets.
• Work with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure post-processed images are clinically valuable.
• Produce quantitative measurements when indicated.
• Assist in developing and maintaining advanced CT protocols and techniques.
• Educate CT technologists in scan protocols and 3D renderings.
• Assist with MR acquisition protocols and QA related to 3D examinations.
• Instruct physicians and technologists on 3D imaging applications.
• Collaborate with faculty and house officers on academic work, including research and publications.
• Partner with 3D software vendors to develop and test new products for clinical use.
Requirements
• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and CT or MRI.
• Minimum 3 years of CT and/or MRI experience, including advanced 3D post-processing.
• Deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathologic processes, especially in cardiac, neurologic, and orthopedic physiology.
• Excellent spatial visualization skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate various courses of action independently.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent social skills, displaying positivity, respect, compassion, and integrity.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Nice-to-haves
• 1-3 years of 3D experience with knowledge of 3D rendering and segmentation techniques.
• Knowledge of GE and Vital Images workstation experience, along with Medis QMass, Philips, and Invivo Dynasuite workstations.
• Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PACS.
• Bachelor's degree in a recognized field of science or equivalent experience.
