Centralized Scheduling Rep Role
                                About the position
Responsibilities
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and respond to a variety of situations, anticipating patients' needs.
• Communicate in a professional, positive, and patient-focused manner with all patients, families, provider offices, and co-workers by phone.
• Ensure accurate patient records and scheduled services through attention to detail.
• Pre-register patients, validate demographics, and verify insurance information.
• Schedule tests according to orders on file in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide patients with preparation instructions for each scheduled procedure.
• Coordinate the proficient scheduling of appointments to meet patient and department needs.
• Understand and enforce compliance with Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) and HIPAA Privacy Standards.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in Patient Registration, EPIC, Patient Scheduling, and insurance verification.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with BJC systems and processes

• Remote work Monday - Friday 9-5:30 PM
• Mandatory on-site training for 5 months at BJC at the Commons from 8-4:30
• Saturday rotation every 16 weeks from 8-12
