Brand Partnership Manager/Director in Beauty Industry
Beautobe is seeking a Brand Partnership Manager / Director to analyze cosmetic industry trends, forecast future product demand, and establish long-term agreements with manufacturers and suppliers. This role is critical to shaping Beautobe’s product strategy and ensuring we bring innovative, high-demand beauty products into the U.S. market through our salon + marketplace ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Research beauty & cosmetics trends to identify high-growth categories (nail, skincare, lash, hair, etc.)
Analyze data and consumer demand to forecast products likely to trend in the next 6–24 months
Build and maintain partnerships with U.S. and global manufacturers/suppliers
Negotiate contracts, pricing, MOQs, timelines, and exclusivity agreements
Evaluate product quality, regulatory compliance, and U.S. market readiness
Collaborate with finance/legal on margin structures and agreements
Partner with Amaryllis House of Beauty to pilot products and capture user feedback
Attend (or virtually cover) trade shows and industry events to scout new opportunities Qualifications
4+ years in brand partnerships, product sourcing, or category management (cosmetics/beauty preferred)
Strong understanding of beauty trends and consumer behavior
Proven success negotiating with manufacturers and structuring supply/partnership agreements
Analytical skills for demand forecasting and market evaluation
Excellent communication and relationship-building
Entrepreneurial, proactive, comfortable in a fast-growing startup
Director level: prior leadership experience in global sourcing & partnerships
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with U.S. compliance for cosmetics (FDA/OTC, labeling, INCI)
Existing network of beauty manufacturers (nail gels, skincare actives, lash, hair)
Familiarity with marketplace/category P&L and margin optimization
Experience launching products from pilot to scale (MOQs → reorder cadence)
Deliverables / KPIs (first 90 days)
Competitive landscape & trend map (6–24 month horizon)
Shortlist of 25–40 high-potential SKUs across 3–5 categories
Outreach pipeline with 20+ qualified manufacturers; 5–10 in active negotiation
3+ signed supply/partnership MOUs or agreements
Pilot plan with metrics (conversion, retention, margin, reorder logic)
