Job Title: HR & Payroll Coordinator Location: Orlando, FL | Hybrid Employment Type: Hourly, Full-Time (Part-Time option considered during startup phase) Pay Range: $23–25/hr DOE Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR & Payroll Coordinator to join the Playsory team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for employee HR needs, while serving as a liaison between our employees, leadership, and PEO HR Solutions. This role requires strong organizational skills, payroll knowledge, and the ability to create a positive employee experience in a fast-growing startup environment. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the employee-facing contact for HR-related questions, including payroll, time off, and benefits. • Coordinate payroll processing with Paychex to ensure accuracy and timely submissions. • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including paperwork, orientation, and compliance checklists. • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and internal systems. • Track PTO, leaves of absence, and assist with policy communications. • Support HR Manager with performance reviews, employee engagement, and compliance initiatives. • Recruitment & Hiring Support: • Draft and post job descriptions across job boards and internal platforms. • Screen resumes and coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers. • Assist with phone screens and initial candidate outreach as needed. • Maintain candidate tracking systems and ensure a positive candidate experience. • Provide administrative HR support for special projects and culture initiatives. Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in HR coordination, payroll, or recruitment support. • Familiarity with payroll systems (Paychex, ADP, or similar) required. • Experience supporting recruitment and interview coordination. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; approachable and employee-focused. • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
