Workday Systems Analyst REMOTE WITH travel to Knoxville TN 6+ Months Contract Key Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the Workday Payroll module during implementation and post-go-live support. Collaborate with implementation partners and internal teams to gather requirements, configure solutions, and validate payroll processes. Support data conversion, testing, and validation activities related to payroll. Assist in designing and documenting business processes, workflows, and integrations related to payroll. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Provide training and support to end-users and HR/payroll teams. Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance of Workday Payroll. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support payroll operations and compliance. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience working with Workday, including at least 1 full-cycle Workday implementation. Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll configuration, testing, and support. Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and reporting requirements. Experience with data conversion, integration testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing). Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Workday certification in Payroll or related modules. Experience with other Workday modules such as HCM, Time Tracking, or Absence Management. Familiarity with Workday Studio or EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder).
