About the Role
As an Outlet Sales Assistant at Lowe's, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive an outstanding shopping experience. You'll be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, processing orders and deliveries, and maintaining a safe and welcoming store environment. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and other forms of correspondence from customers, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns.
 - Process orders and deliveries accurately, ensuring that customers receive their merchandise in a satisfactory condition.
 - Maintain a safe and clutter-free store environment, adhering to safety protocols and reporting any potential hazards to management.
 - Provide exceptional customer service, offering assistance and guidance to customers as needed, and ensuring that their shopping experience is positive and memorable.
 - Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products and services, and drive business results.
 - Perform other duties as required, including supporting other departments and teams within the store.
 
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- A minimum of six months' experience using computer systems, including recording, retrieving, altering, or exhibiting digital information.
 - At least six months' experience working in a retail environment, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service and handling customer concerns.
 - The ability to comply with regulatory requirements, including obtaining any necessary sales-based licensure or registration.
 - Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, any day of the week.
 - Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 25 pounds independently (or with assistance), and perform other physical movements required for the role.
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered advantageous:
- Previous sales experience, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and promote products and services.
 - A track record of providing exceptional customer service, including handling customer concerns, resolving issues, and building strong relationships.
 - Bilingual abilities, with the capacity to communicate effectively with customers in multiple languages.
 - Certification or training in a relevant field, such as hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, or lumber/building materials.
