The Part-Time Online English Teacher Role

We're looking for part-time online English teachers to join our team! As a VIPKID teacher, you'll have the opportunity to teach English to students aged 4-12 in China, using our interactive and engaging curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach 25-minute one-on-one online English classes to students in China
• Use our specially designed curriculum, aligned with the U.S. Common Core State Standards
• Choose your schedule from available class slots, with peak hours being Monday-Sunday 6-10am EST and Saturday-Sunday 9pm-10am EST
• Teach from the comfort of your own home, with a reliable computer and internet connection
• Engage with students, parents, and our community to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment

What We Offer

• A competitive hourly rate of $14-$22 per hour, with an average earning potential of $19 per hour

Essential Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
• At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience (any kind)
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. or Canada
• A strong internet connection and a reliable computer
• A passion for teaching and making a difference in the lives of children

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching certification or experience in English language instruction
• Experience working with children in an educational setting
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and technology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
