Job Summary

In this exciting and dynamic role, you will be responsible for navigating online platforms to verify the credentials of nurses who have selected healthcare facilities to work with. You will then follow up with the nurses via written messages to confirm the validity of their credentials for the chosen facility. Additionally, you will handle inbound and outbound phone calls with nurses who are checking on the status of picking up shifts. As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our nurses, providing exceptional customer service, support, and guidance throughout the staffing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage large volumes of inbound and outbound phone calls in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all calls are handled with empathy, understanding, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple chat channels, responding to nurse inquiries and providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Follow established communication scripts and protocols when handling different topics, ensuring that all interactions are consistent, accurate, and compliant with company policies and procedures.

Essential Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of customer service or customer support experience, preferably in a call center or office environment.
  • 1 year of previous call center or office background experience, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Technical savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Previous remote work experience is a plus, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home-based setting.
  • Quick learner, with the ability to absorb and apply new information, policies, and procedures in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening and problem-solving abilities.
