Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the quality assurance team on the 2nd/3rd shift to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and procedures to ensure product integrity and safety.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, ISO) and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and lead process validations for various production lines, including steam tunnel, liquid film, wipes, liquid fill, sealers, and cappers.
  • Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance protocols and best practices to ensure a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with production teams to enhance quality performance and address quality-related issues promptly.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Quality Assurance, Engineering, etc.).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality systems supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance (FDA, USDA, ISO).
  • Experience with process validations and quality systems management.
  • Ability to work effectively on 2nd/3rd shift hours and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, with a proven track record of success.
