Job Overview and Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Recruiting Business Partner Coordinator to support our recruitment efforts across three Job Corps Center (JCC) locations in Albuquerque, NM, Chicago, IL, and El Paso, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling interviews, and creating offer letters. Your expertise in recruitment and talent acquisition will play a vital role in helping us identify and hire the best candidates for our organization.

  • Refer appropriate candidates to hiring managers, ensuring the best fit for our team and organization.
  • Provide support and coordination for recruitment projects and related services to supervisors, hiring managers, recruitment team members, and others.
  • Act as a resource for recruitment policies, procedures, and practices, providing information and responding to questions from supervisors, HR staff, and potential applicants.
  • Handle and prioritize multiple ranges of advanced administrative duties, utilizing independent judgment and initiative.
  • Create job postings on our Applicant Tracking System (UKG), assess incoming resumes, screen potential employees, and conduct interviews via Microsoft Teams.
  • Maintain accurate interview and hiring records, create offer letters, and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proven recruiting and interviewing skills, with the ability to source and attract top talent.
  • Excellent phone, Teams, and online meeting platform skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Support for workplace diversity, with a commitment to promoting inclusion and respect in the workplace.
  • Professionalism, organization, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of human resources policies and practices, with knowledge of HR databases and candidate management systems.
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently, with a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to respond to changing requirements and work outside regular work hours at short notice when workload dictates.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of recruitment software and systems, including applicant tracking systems and candidate management tools.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Certifications or training in recruitment, human resources, or a related field, such as SHRM or HRCI.
