Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Entry Clerk to work full-time remotely, focusing on provider file management, data accuracy, and quality control. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data entry, preferably in the health insurance field, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities
- Provider File Management: Update and maintain provider file information across various systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Documentation and Database Management: Ensure accurate documentation is submitted to the provider file database(s), and conduct regular audits to verify data integrity.
- Contract Research and Analysis: Conduct research on provider contracts, identify necessary actions for maintenance, and recommend process improvements.
- Claims Edits and Resolution: Investigate and resolve claims edits related to provider files, collaborating with internal teams as needed.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze reports to identify data corrections, streamline processes, and implement quality control measures.
- Quality Control Reviews: Perform regular quality control reviews on provider files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- An Associate's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Health Information Management) is preferred.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in a general business environment, preferably in data entry, administration, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in the health insurance field or a related industry is highly preferred.
