**Job Summary**
As a Data Entry Specialist on our third shift team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services. You'll be responsible for accurately entering patient, client, billing, and test information into our Laboratory Information System, identifying and implementing effective solutions to resolve issues, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. **Key Responsibilities**
* Enter patient, client, billing, and test information into the Laboratory Information System with accuracy and attention to detail
* Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions to resolve issues
* Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements, championing safety, compliance, and quality control
* Operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms
* Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
**Essential Qualifications**
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing
* Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
* Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 1-2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* Familiarity with laboratory information systems and software applications
