**Responsibilities:**
As an Airline Customer Support Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for:
* Handling inbound and outbound customer inquiries through calls, emails, and chat, providing accurate information and assistance regarding flight reservations, bookings, cancellations, and general inquiries
* Troubleshooting and resolving customer complaints and issues with empathy and professionalism, ensuring high customer satisfaction and delivering exceptional service
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide seamless support
* Staying up-to-date with airline policies, procedures, and industry developments to provide informed and accurate responses to customer inquiries
* Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in customer service, airline operations, and technology
**Requirements:**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
* Experience with Amadeus, with a strong understanding of its features and functionality
* Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or airline industry, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and resolving complex customer issues
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike
* Ability to navigate through computer systems and multitask efficiently, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Willingness to work in shifts and weekends, as required in a 24/7 operation
* Legally eligible to work in South Africa
* Reliable laptop with 2nd screen and internet connectivity, with a minimum of 3 to 4 hours of power backup during load shedding
