- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with brokers by thoroughly understanding and assessing their requirements through education and support.
 - Collaborate with brokers to devise insurance solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of their clients, including both fully insured and self-funded programs across all benefit lines.
 - Communicate effectively through various channels—including in-person meetings, presentations, phone calls, and online interactions—to foster and enhance broker relationships.
 - Utilize company technologies such as Salesforce and Employee Navigator to optimize relationship management and drive sales activities.
 - Develop comprehensive territory and account plans that detail opportunity development, competitive strategies, and key goals.
 - Identify and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with sales leaders and cross-functional teams, continually expanding the prospect funnel.
 - Stay abreast of technological advancements in the employee benefits landscape, monitoring market trends, competitor strategies, and effective countermeasures.
 - Work in synergy with a collaborative team environment to meet annual sales objectives and company targets.
 - Represent the organization at meetings, events, and training sessions to maintain a competitive edge and uphold professionalism.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

- A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, specifically within the insurance industry, with a proven track record of success.
 - Experience in managing relationships with brokers and carriers, with a deep understanding of their needs and expectations.
 - A current Life & Health insurance license, ensuring you're equipped to navigate the complexities of the industry.
 - Proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms, alongside advanced sales techniques and pipeline management skills.
 - Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
