Job Overview


We are looking for a talented and experienced Dialysis Clinical Technician to work 40 hours a day shift at our Dearborn location. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for monitoring and providing direct care to patients on hemodialysis, communicating effectively with team members, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Key Responsibilities



  • Monitor patients on an ongoing basis and communicate information to the appropriate team member

  • Provide direct care to patients on hemodialysis under the supervision of nursing staff

  • Respond to emergency situations and reinforce patient education

  • Document patient care and observations, including flow sheets, AMA's, and incident reports

  • Follow operational activities specific to the assigned unit, including call-in times and breaks

  • Treat patients and families with respect and dignity, maintaining a neat and safe work area

  • Communicate effectively with other departments, agencies, or service organizations

  • Function as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating problem-solving methodologies and technical skills

Essential Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Associate's Degree in Science preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science preferred

  • Certification as a dialysis technician must be obtained within designated timelines and maintained in accordance with federal regulations

Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous experience as a dialysis clinical technician

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a complex and changing environment
