Job Summary

As a Sales Executive, Software - Learning Management Systems for Regulated Industries, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. You will work closely with our leadership team to create multi-year account plans, provide insights on customer needs and trends, and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales cycle. Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Planning: Collaborate with leadership to develop multi-year account plans for Software, particularly in Learning Management Systems (LMS) for regulated industries.
  • Customer Insights and Trends: Provide valuable insights on customer needs, pain points, and trends to inform LMS software strategy.
  • Account Management: Prioritize and manage a portfolio of accounts, identifying renewal opportunities and maintaining relationships throughout the year.
  • Product Demos and Integration: Conduct product demos, advise on software integration into existing IT environments, and serve as the main client contact for LMS throughout the sales cycle.
  • Value Proposition Communication: Communicate the value proposition of LMS products/services based on deep technical knowledge, tailored to customers' technology platforms.
  • Post-Sale Relationships: Maintain post-sale relationships to ensure software renewals and growth opportunities.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with account managers on discovery, opportunity identification, and sales cycle management, while coordinating with Solution Architects and technical resources as needed.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Sales Experience: Over 2 years of relevant sales experience, with a preference for software sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge and experience in highly regulated industries.
  • Sales Track Record: Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and surpassing sales targets.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with a thorough understanding of sales processes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in LMS Sales: Experience in selling Learning Management Systems or similar software solutions.
  • Regulatory Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the challenges and requirements of highly regulated industries.
  • Technical Background: Technical background or experience working with software solutions.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes:

  • Competitive Salary: A target annual pay range of $113,750 - $148,750, which includes a base salary of $65,000 - $85,000 and 100% on-target performance.
  • Sales Incentive Plan: Eligibility to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan, with an annual target incentive of 100% of the base salary, paid quarterly, and contingent upon performance.
