About the Role: Specialist, Customer Support, EUC Remote I

As a Customer Support Specialist for End-User Computing (EUC) at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in providing global IT services support to employees and third-party stakeholders. This involves delivering first-level support for complex IT services, resolving technical issues, and addressing queries related to computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve IT services problems and answer queries via telephone or self-service ticket, ensuring timely and effective support for internal and external customers.
  • Assess problems to determine whether they're related to business processes, applications, or infrastructure, and diagnose issues using historical database records.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to technical specialists, application or system support specialists, and maintain accurate records and tracking databases for IT service incidents.
  • Leverage your technical knowledge and customer service expertise to resolve issues related to software and hardware installation, usage, and training.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and mitigate recurring problems, ensuring continuous improvement in IT service delivery.
  • Adhere to security procedures, change control guidelines, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements to maintain the highest standards of IT service management.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT, with a focus on customer support, technical troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to form strong working partnerships within IT and the business community.
  • Knowledge of desktop computing hardware configurations, peripherals, and software installation/configurations on Microsoft Windows and Apple iOS platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
