As a leader in the industry, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team in Memphis, TN. This role is currently remote but may transition to in-person in the future, so applicants must live in or near Memphis, TN.
About the Role
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for our National Account customers, ensuring contract compliance and providing top-notch service in a professional manner. You will act as a liaison between customers, branches, sales representatives, and corporate functions, maintaining special and ancillary services, researching customer billing and account questions, and updating customer service teams on new or changing customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between customers, branches, sales representatives, and corporate functions via phone, email, and other electronic systems regarding various National Accounts matters.
 - Maintain special and ancillary services via company and customer websites, including scanning and uploading graphs and business proposals.
 - Update work orders via customer web portals, such as opening/closing work orders and providing status updates.
 - Handle basic and routine customer calls and emails, processing work orders and coordinating issues with Customer Account Managers.
 - Use computerized systems for inputting and tracking work orders, ensuring customers receive timely service.
 - Handle customer calls and correspondence for scheduling and inquiries, recording all customer information and call history.
 
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 - At least 6 months of clerical or customer service experience.
 - Strong customer service orientation and conflict resolution skills.
 - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
 - Effective oral and written communication skills, including typing.
 - The ability to influence leaders and peers.
 - Knowledge of blithequark's business unit brand products and services is a plus.
 - Attention to detail and organizational skills.
 - The ability to work independently and meet goals.
 - Teamwork skills and the ability to effectively multi-task.
 - Adaptability to learn and perform in a fast-paced environment.
 - Intermediate Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), with a minimum of intermediate Excel skills.
 - Proficiency with customer service portals.
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:
- Experience resolving escalated customer service issues.
