Key Responsibilities

  • Exceed service expectations by actively participating in sales and up-service programs, achieving specific unit goals through outbound calling (60%-70% of work time)
  • Handle phone inquiries regarding membership benefits, pricing, and processing in a professional and efficient manner
  • Support members in navigating the association website, including assistance with registration and password reset
  • Respond to service inquiries about association products, providing information on products, pricing, order status, and billing
  • Manage journal subscriptions, including product information, pricing, order status, and billing, and resolve service interruptions
  • Participate in training, performance management, workgroups, and service center improvement projects to drive continuous improvement

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in customer service and/or telemarketing (3+ years)
  • Experience with service center tools, such as telephony, measurement, and applications
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment via phone and email
  • The ability to work effectively in a high-volume, production-oriented environment
  • Sales experience in an outbound call environment is preferred

Compensation and Benefits
