About the Role: Remote Customer Service Representative
We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Remote Customer Service Representative to provide top-notch telephone assistance to blithequark members and providers. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls from members and providers, addressing inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, and other related topics.
- Provide accurate and timely information, resolving issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Utilize our systems and tools to access member information, process requests, and document interactions.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency, meeting performance standards and call quality goals.
- Demonstrate self-sufficiency and independence while working remotely, with minimal supervision.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date on products, services, and industry trends.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
- Occasionally commute to our Charleston, WV office when unable to work from home due to technical issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with members and providers.
- Strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional experiences.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision.
- Reliable high-speed internet connectivity via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi not permitted).
- Reside within 50 miles of Linthicum, MD.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a call center environment, preferably in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare programs, or experience working in a related healthcare environment.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
