Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from members regarding home healthcare and benefits, providing timely and effective resolutions to their inquiries and concerns.
 - Manage a high volume of calls (approximately 30-40 per day), maintaining a high level of professionalism and composure under pressure.
 - Utilize computer systems to document calls, update member information, and perform other tasks as required, with almost 95% of your work being on the computer.
 - Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our home healthcare and benefits services, as well as medical terminology, to provide accurate and informed support to members.
 - Collaborate with Case Managers and Nurses to ensure seamless coordination of care and services for members.
 - Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with members, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
 - Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring that members feel valued, supported, and satisfied with their experience.
 
Essential Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a call center, doctor's office, or customer service related position, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
 - 1 year of experience with inbound/outbound calls, call center operations, and medical terminology.
 - Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and strong computer skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
 - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional experience in the home healthcare or benefits industry, with a deep understanding of the complex needs and challenges faced by members.
