Job Overview

In this critical role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our government clients, responding to inbound calls, documenting conversations, and utilizing scripts and resources to guide interactions. Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize online reference materials to provide confident, accurate, and efficient information to customers
  • Effectively and efficiently use technical systems, including desktop, call center-specific phone systems, and the internet
  • Maintain sufficient reliable private internet connection, with the ability to hardwire via Ethernet cable, to support remote work
  • Meet department quality assurance standards and metrics, ensuring high-quality support and service delivery
  • Educate and answer questions from customers, providing the most up-to-date information about the program
  • Follow protocol and apply sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential information

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
  • Ability to pass language knowledge assessment
  • Strong internet connection, due to the remote nature of this role, with the ability to hardwire via Ethernet cable

Nice to have qualifications include:

  • Bilingual or Multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer groups
  • Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support and service
  • Previously cleared for a Public Trust Entry of Duty Clearance Level (Government Clients Only), with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
  • Licenses in Insurance, Healthcare, and/or Finance sectors, with a strong understanding of industry-specific regulations and requirements
  • Previous experience with FEMA Call Center, with knowledge of emergency management and response protocols
