As a Chat Support Agent at blithequark, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, provide information, and offer assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers through online chat and messaging platforms, responding to inquiries, providing information, and offering assistance in a timely and professional manner.
 - Product and Service Support: Assist customers in navigating our products or services, addressing their questions, concerns, and technical issues, and providing solutions to resolve problems.
 - Troubleshooting and Escalation: Troubleshoot and resolve customer problems, escalating complex issues to higher levels of support when necessary, and ensuring that customer issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
 - Documentation and Reporting: Document customer interactions, including the nature of inquiries, solutions provided, and any follow-up actions, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
 - Performance Targets: Meet or exceed performance targets, including response time, customer satisfaction scores, and chat volume goals, and continuously strive to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
 - Product Knowledge and Training: Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers, and participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
 - Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure consistent and effective customer support, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
 
Essential Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
 - Communication Skills: Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of grammar and spelling.
 - Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service or chat support experience is a plus but not required.
 - Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly and logically.
 - Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with chat and messaging platforms.
 - Multitasking and Time Management: Ability to multitask effectively and handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
 - Customer Focus: Empathy, patience, and a customer-focused attitude.
 - Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required, and ability to adapt to changing processes and technologies.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and experience with phone or voice support.
 - Technical Expertise: Experience with technical products or services and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
 - Leadership and Team Management: Experience in a team lead or management role, with ability to motivate and guide team members.
