About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional Staff Software Engineer to join our Wellbeing and Agent Efficiency team, a critical component of our CSP. This team is responsible for driving significant enhancements to agent workflows and tooling through AI and automation. You'll work on building solutions that improve agent efficiency, scalability, and adaptability, ultimately contributing to Blithequark's core business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering partners to execute on product and business strategy, developing novel products and features.
  • Drive, lead, and contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
  • Lead engineers, both within and outside your local team, in working out technical solutions.
  • Mentor other engineers in developing their technical and collaboration skills.
  • Sustain a culture of technical excellence from design through code review to production deployment.

Your Expertise

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 9+ years of relevant software development experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Strong proficiency with backend systems in large-scale service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience with frontend or full-stack development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and across engineering, product, and design organizations.
  • A passion for efficiency, accessibility, technical quality, and infrastructure quality.
  • A love for collaborating through code reviews and design discussions, and a motivation to improve colleagues' productivity.
  • Bachelor's or Master's/PhD degree, ideally in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
