Senior Risk Representative - Asset Protection & Risk Management for Global Retail Commercialization Productions & Events

About the North American Events and Production Risk Team
The North American Events and Production Risk team is an integral part of the Global Asset Protection and Risk team, responsible for ensuring safe practices across Disney Retail Commercialization business units during the planning and implementation of productions, events, and related retail activations. As a Senior Risk Representative, you will play a critical role in this team, working closely with cross-functional partners to mitigate risks and ensure seamless execution of events.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Asset Protection and Risk point of contact for Retail Commercialization productions, events, and activations, ensuring timely and effective support.
 - Accurately submit and document support requests within department databases, assessing and supporting related production/event/activations.
 - Collaborate with location venues and/or 3rd party vendors to assess safety and security protocols, identifying areas for improvement.
 - Develop, maintain, and implement location-specific written safety, security, and emergency management/response programs and training for teams.
 - Assess, source, and procure Retail facility emergency supply needs, ensuring readiness for any situation.
 - Act as onsite safety and security lead during Retail productions/events/activations, providing expert guidance and oversight.
 - Support occupational safety programs, including ergonomic evaluations for Retail employees, as directed by department manager.
 - Maintain department SharePoint sites, Retail specific event and production contact lists within emergency notification systems, and other software platforms.
 - Develop and regularly update Key Performance Indicators, executive summaries, and similar metric dashboards to keep department leadership informed of program performance.
 - Monitor and coordinate response efforts related to Retail business and local jurisdiction infectious disease prevention protocols, communicating and implementing execution as directed by manager.
 - Implement special projects, as advised, in a highly efficient manner, delivering results-driven outcomes.
 - Serve as an agent of Global Emergency Preparedness and Response, supporting the implementation of Building Emergency Response Team (BERT) programs.
 - Maintain outstanding Guest Service both internally and externally, embodying the Disney values.
 
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of Occupational Safety, Risk experience, with a proven track record of leading complex projects with cross-functional partners.
 - The ability to think strategically and communicate the broader vision to key leaders, driving results-oriented decision-making.
 - Proven attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring error-free execution.
 - Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
 - The ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the workforce, partners, and external business vendors, fostering strong relationships.
 - A working knowledge of ergonomics and proficiency in MS Office Suite, with the ability to adapt to new software platforms.
 - The ability to handle confidential information with discretion, maintaining the highest level of integrity.
 
Preferred Education
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in a relevant field.
Desirable Skills
The following skills are considered a plus:
- Investigation and/or research experience, with a proven ability to analyze complex data and drive insights.
 - Working knowledge of productions, events, or similar work scopes, providing a unique understanding of the industry.
 - Safety, risk, and/or Asset Protection industry designations (e.g., CSP, CPP, ARM, etc.), demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
