Job Description and Key Responsibilities
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and analyzing network components, infrastructure, and architecture to support and execute against our strategic technology goals. This includes both Wireline and Wireless components, with a focus on providing short- and long-term planning for access network technologies, analysis, solution recommendations, and implementation of said strategy. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Recommending strategic network planning and network evolution policy decisions, both in and out of franchise, in support of corporate initiatives, customer demand, technology changes, economic and service reliability criteria
 - Evaluating network capacity/performance criteria and developing and implementing strategies to accommodate network growth and change
 - Creating deliverables, such as Plans of Record, Forecasts, Serving Plans, Use Permits, Cost Estimates, Handoffs, Workprints, Utility Agreements, and more
 
Job Contribution and Technical Expertise
As a technical professional with limited experience, you will have a working knowledge of technical principles and be learning AT&T technologies. You will demonstrate a basic knowledge of the engineering position, design tools, and databases, and have the ability to complete most types of small to medium projects. You may seek guidance from peers for issues not able to resolve on your own, including complex designs, process issues, and database issues.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A preferred Bachelor's of Science degree in Math, Science, or Engineering
 - 1-2 years of experience in a related field, with a Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role
 - No supervisory experience is required, but you will be working collaboratively with our team to drive success

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
As a Specialist OSP Design Engineer, you can expect a competitive salary range of $63,700 - $95,500, depending on your experience, expertise, and education. In addition to your salary, you will also be eligible for:
