Experienced Airport Customer Service Representative: Ticket/Gate Agent (Seasonal) - Palm Beach International Airport

Job Overview and Key Responsibilities
As a Ticket/Gate Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, greeting them, guiding them through the check-in process, and assisting them with their travel needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning the check-in process, boarding process, and seat availability, including making gate announcements and ensuring customers have the accurate travel documentation.
 - Tagging and lifting baggage from scales to conveyor belts, with some bags weighing up to 70 pounds.
 - Operating loading bridges and opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors.
 - Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport.
 - Providing exceptional customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
 
Work Schedule and Hours
Ticket/Gate Seasonal Agents typically work between 20 to 40 hours per week and 150 to 800 hours per year. Seasonal work will depend on the operational need of the station and location, and recalls can happen at any time during the calendar year based on operational demand.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Consistently prioritize the safety and security of yourself, others, and personal data.

 - Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
 - Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States.
 - Have proficiency in English and strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation.
 - Possess basic digital literacy and be able to pass a physical ability test (PAT) and a Customer Service Assessment.
 - Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.

Compensation and Perks
The starting pay for this role is $19.00 per hour, with regular pay increases occurring through 10.5 years. In addition to your salary, you will also be eligible for a range of benefits and perks, including those listed above.
