Job Summary

As our new Social Media Manager, Kids Content, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that engages parents, kids, and young people. You will be responsible for creating and scheduling content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Parler, TikTok, and YouTube. Your goal will be to build and convert a digital audience, promote educational initiatives, and amplify the voice and tone of PragerU.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation and Scheduling: Develop and schedule engaging content across social media platforms on a daily basis, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Innovative Engagement: Explore new ways to engage with our target audience and identify emerging social networks to expand our reach.
  • Storytelling and Campaigns: Evolve and elevate PragerU's storytelling through timely, engaging campaigns that resonate with parents and kids.
  • Social Media Monitoring: Constantly monitor social media channels, engage with posts, popular hashtags, and join pop culture conversations to cultivate a sense of community.
  • Collaboration and Content Capture: Work with cross-functional teams to capture in-the-moment content while keeping overall content and social strategy in mind.
  • Social Media Profile Management: Manage PragerU's social media profiles and presence across multiple platforms.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years of social media and/or related digital marketing experience, preferably in the conservative or education sectors.
  • Strategic Experience: Proven experience on social platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as staying up-to-date on emerging platforms.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Organization and Attention to Detail: Extremely organized with an eye for detail, able to multitask, plan ahead, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Alignment with Company Mission: A passion for conservative values and education, with a strong understanding of PragerU's mission and vision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Editing Experience: Experience in editing and content creation, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
  • Understanding of Conservative Movement: A deep understanding of the conservative movement and its values, with the ability to create content that resonates with conservative audiences.
  • Experience with Kids Content: Experience creating content for kids or working with kids' education initiatives.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, commensurate with experience, ranging from $75,000-$85,000. In addition, you will be eligible for:
